Department Of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering was established in 2023. It offers a four-year undergraduate program, Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.), in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere (DBATU).
The academic programs at DBATU Lonere are robust enough to meet the increasing challenges of academia that are constantly evolving. The curriculum is meticulously designed and developed through a systematic process, aiming to foster students’ holistic development in terms of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values, in line with the philosophy of outcome-based education.
The primary objective of the E&TC department is to cultivate the next generation of leaders and innovators in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering. The department is dedicated to shaping students’ personalities and characters, preparing them for employability through technical and soft skills, research aptitude, and an innovative mindset.
The department maintains state-of-the-art facilities and resources, including two classrooms with advanced smart interactive panels, a tutorial room, and two state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with modern accessories and up-to-date experimental setups.
The department boasts qualified and experienced faculty members who are experts in various domains such as VLSI and embedded systems, microprocessors and microcontrollers, Internet of Things, and telecommunications engineering. All teachers are dedicated to cultivating a vibrant academic environment that promotes intellectual growth and encourages critical thinking.
The faculty members are dedicated to an outcome-based teaching-learning process aimed at imparting sound technical knowledge and skills to students. They are committed to enhancing our students’ learning experience by emphasizing activity and project-based learning using modern tools and technologies.
Special initiatives are being undertaken to prepare our students with an innovative mindset through value-added courses crafted from emerging areas such as IoT, optical systems, augmented reality, virtual reality, wireless communication, robotics, 5G technologies, and mechatronics.
The department has signed MoUs and established strong associations with industries to facilitate our students with collaborative projects, internships, on-the-job training, and job opportunities.
The department strives to provide a conducive research environment through micro, mini, and mega projects based on real industry problems for our students. It supports all research and innovation-based activities throughout the year.
